New from National Crane is the NBT40-1 Series of boom trucks that are available with an aerial lift configuration. When equipped with this aerial package, this series of three new models—the NBT36-1, the NBT40-1 and the NBT45-1—is aimed at the utility market and will enable companies to perform both crane lifting and aerial lift projects more efficiently with just one machine. For the core crane markets, this updated series of cranes will continue to provide the performance customers expect from National Crane.

Shawmut Equipment will provide preparation for NCCCO crane operator testing along with the written and practical exams at Shawmut’s South Easton, Massachusetts facility January 23-27, 2017. The cost of the four day program is $1,500 per participant.

Manitowoc welcomed more than 320 guests to its factory in Niella Tanaro, Italy, to celebrate the launch of the new Potain Hup 40-30. The Hup 40-30 is the second model from the new Potain Hup range, after the Hup 32-27, which was launched at bauma 2016.

Only one year after its introduction, Manitowoc has delivered its 100th Grove GMK5250L. German rental company Armbruster Autokran-Vermietung will add the groundbreaking all-terrain crane to its fleet of 14 machines.

•    A Manitowoc MLC650 was chosen to work on an ambitious wind farm project due to its ease of assembly and compact footprint. •    Multiple crane erections and disassemblies were required on this jobsite, so the crane’s ability to lift at a high capacity without a counterweight wagon has increased efficiency in assembly time.
